Our February Learn and Practice will be led by Boris Spitchka. The topic will be Preparation exercises before dance. Originally from Ukraine, Boris began his love affair with ballroom dance at sixteen. He competed with Sasha as amateurs in Latin and Standard. They went on to become coaches, performers, and competition organizers. In 1998 they opened the Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Albany,

Boris and Sasha have achieved the highest certification level of a Dual Fellowship in International Standard and Latin from the United States Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (USISTD), and a Triple Fellowship in American Smooth, American Rhythm, and Theatre Arts from Fred Astaire Dance Studios®.

In 2019, Boris became a member of the Fred Astaire Dance Studios International Dance Council. Please joins us for this great learning experience.
